Stories from the mission field

Going on mission trips to Peru has been a life changing experience. Seeing the world from a different perspective, and seeing God's heart for all people and nations is incredible to witness. There is much work to be done, and people that need to hear about Christ's love. If you get the opportunity to visit Peru, do not hesitate!

Peru Mission trip - November 2025

The experience started before we left. I thought we were going to educate these Pastors in Cajamarca, Peru. But when I saw their Faith, that they would walk on average 3 to 4 hours just to be in the conference I was amazed. One Pastor walked 7 hours to be the first one to arrive at the conference. I felt that I learned more about how to walk a life without complaining that really shows our life of love for our Savior Jesus. I learned that they want to hear more and more about God’s Word, that they have a hunger for the Word of God. My thoughts were, how I wish the whole congregation in our churches could experience the love and dedication of these children of God, that have so little in life but live a life of love, gratitude, and thankfulness. I really needed this trip to be refreshed and energized. It is an experience that I will not forget. I am grateful to God for making this trip happen.

Missions provide the opportunity to know that God is not only in a single place. It is good to know that there are people in different parts of the world that believe in Jesus. The work done through missions is very important for Peru. It is encouraging to see God using volunteers to spread the Gospel and help others. Come to Peru!
